Public Guardian and Trustee Fees
Public Guardian and Trustee (PGT) services are funded by a combination of fees and commissions for services and supplementary funding from the Government of British Columbia.
Fees and commissions charged by the PGT are established by the BC government under the Public Guardian and Trustee Act and are set out in the Public Guardian and Trustee Fees Regulation.
Where the PGT is directly managing a client’s financial and legal affairs, the fees are taken automatically. In all other circumstances, fees are submitted to the PGT at the time you make a request for service.
When submitting fees, please make your cheque or bank draft payable to the “Public Guardian and Trustee”. No other form of payment is accepted at this time. Please note 5% GST is applicable to all fees.
