On March 31, 2018 the provincial government announced that it would make payments to former residents of Woodlands School of up to $10,000, depending on funds already received in the Woodlands School class action.
The Public Guardian and Trustee (PGT) is pleased to confirm that it has received payments on behalf of over 240 of its current clients who were former Woodlands residents. Clients or their service providers are encouraged to contact the case manager for more information about the payments.
If you are a former resident of Woodlands but not a client of the PGT, you may require the PGT to act as trustee in order to receive payment of funds. Learn more about the Woodlands Trustee Program here or call the PGT Assessment and Investigation Services toll free at 1.877.511.4111 to learn more.
